Thank you very much for the prayers. So far, we have really great contractors who are taking good care of us. While we didn't have the money to pay upfront (who would at 50K), we are thankful that we could get a loan and can afford the minimum payment. With all these interest rate hikes, we couldn't get a personal loan for less than 11% (and we have good credit)! This time 2 years ago I could get the same loan for around 5.5%. Crazy!!!
