An Open Letter Introduction to Future Readers

Welcome, Patriots! I hope that you will find the innerworkings of my unique mind and critical thought processes a spring board for your own critical thinking and growth. We have a tremendous amount of material to get through, which means I have a tremendous amount to produce. Today I will do this ad-hoc and on the fly. Over time, I will let you get to know me a little better so that you have the context of the life experiences, challenges, and successes that have shaped me into the person that has brought me here today and why.

These publications are intended to be small pieces of the larger puzzle that will be known as the “Current Events and Interesting Information” Newsletter. These puzzle pieces will include, but are not limited to:

Today, I will end by providing a little background on myself to hopefully establish some credibility with the readers. By no means am I an expert in any of these fields. However, I am confident in saying that there are not many out there who can match the amount of information I consume and analyze on a daily basis. An amount which I have sustained for many, many years. What can I say, I am hungry for truth and wisdom! Regarding “system” certifications / licenses, I have a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering with minors in Aerospace Engineering and Mathematics. I have worked for over a decade in the Rocket Industry for one of the nation’s largest rocket providers, where in that short time, I have obtained the title of Sr. Leader of System Safety & Quality Engineering. System Safety and Quality Engineering require a holistic understanding of both the ground system and flight systems of the rocket, as well as the business processes that are required to ensure that everything comes together successfully along the lifecycle. Most importantly, these areas of engineering [require] critical thinking, an understanding of risk and risk-based decision making, and healthy skepticism. Whether or not you know it, you have trusted me and my team to help provide critical capabilities to the world (e.g. GPS, Communications, Global Imaging, Weather Monitoring, etc.). In that same timeframe, I was also introduced to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, was married to a wonderful woman, and have had four beautiful children. More about a lot of this later, but hopefully this provides you with enough foundation to give my publications a chance. Until next time. God Bless, Patriots!
